	All information in this document applies to systems in 
	AmigaNet Zone 40 Region 2.  Host system is 40:2/1.0  My
	name is Dan Crooks and I run ShadowFire_Amiga in Omaha NE.
	I am the Host of Region 2, Central United States.

 At this time, I have not recieved any kind of policy document to cover
AmigaNet.  Requests have been sent and no replies recieved.

 AmigaNet is a new and growing network dedicated to the Amiga user.  Since
this network is still relatively new, I would suspect that the documents
are under construction and will become available in the near future.

 Common sense is to be exercised at all times.  Use your best judgement,
and be prepared to answer for your actions when asked to do so.  Each 
person will be held accountable for their actions while using AmigaNet.

 There has been discussion to add more echo's, namely AUDIO and VIDEO. As
of this date, they have not started yet.  Your inputs are welcome.  If you
have an idea for a new echo, post it and see what kind of response you
get.  With AmigaNet being in it's infant stage right now, things are
really wide open for ideas.

 One of the rules I have been told about deals with origin lines and
seenby lines.  There are to be no FidoNet address's in either line. 
Before you start sending out messages, please ensure your software is
configured correctly.  If you have problems and would like help, please
post your questions in the R2SYSOP echo.  That echo does not go upstream
from here.  It would be a good place for test messages to make sure your
messages are correctly formatted for AmigaNet.

 Since I have not heard otherwise, you can allow points under you in
AmigaNet.  All normal rules apply, that is, the nodeboss is responsible
for anything sent by their point.

 Until I hear differently, real names are to be used in ALL AmigaNet
message headers.  Signature lines are okay, but your real name must be
in the message header.

 All region 2 NEC's will handle problems in their net. If the problem
cannot be resolved, or there is an appeal, I will hear both sides of the
dispute and make my decision.  Unless I hear of a policy change, there
will be NO appeals beyond the RC level to the ZC level.  I will be trying
to get guidelines established.
