After Dark X-Shareware
Infinisys Ltd., e_info@infinisys.co.jp, http://en.infinisys.co.jp/
The Flying Toasters live! After Dark-probably the most famous screen saver app of all time-has been resurrected for OS X. This time, the modules feature new twists and turns (thanks to its use of Open GL's 3D environment) that's sure to make you barf if you've downed one too many Tequila shots. Go down memory lane and feast your eyes once again (or for the first time) on updated versions of circles, fireworks, line art, message, starry night, warp, shower, and space toaster. This demo only lets you view the screen savers in preview mode (no full screen), so pony-up a twenty if you want to retrofy your futuristically aquatic OS. Requires a G3 or faster Mac and Mac OS X 10.1 or later.

If you're an OS X-er, you'll appreciate this very cool desktop accoutrement. Dock Lawn allows you to swap out your old OS X dock for a nice refreshing patch of green grass, perfect for the summer. Your OS X icons are instantly transformed into pseudo lawn ornaments, complete with garden gnome. Of course, if you really want the full effect, you've gotta install the Dock Lawn Additions icon pack (also on the Disc), which features great X icons to replace your current batch (pink flamingo, sprinkler, croquet set, golfball tee, or dog poop anyone?). With Mac OS X, file-application binding has changed. If you have older files generated in previous versions of the Mac OS or files downloaded from the Internet, you'll often find that double-clicking on a file doesn't open the right application for your needs. Zingg! comes to the rescue. A simple Finder Contextual Menu, it shows you all applications that claim to open a particular file. Requires a G3 or faster Mac and Mac OS X 10.1 or later.
