If you're an OS X-er, you'll appreciate this very cool desktop accoutrement. Dock Lawn allows you to swap out your old OS X dock for a nice refreshing patch of green grass, perfect for the summer. Your OS X icons are instantly transformed into pseudo lawn ornaments, complete with garden gnome. Of course, if you really want the full effect, you've gotta install the Dock Lawn Additions icon pack (also on the Disc), which features great X icons to replace your current batch (pink flamingo, sprinkler, croquet set, golfball tee, or dog poop anyone?). OS X's built-in screen saver is nice, but if you're an intrepid digital photographer, here's a screen saver that goes a bit further. With Mac OS X, file-application binding has changed. If you have older files generated in previous versions of the Mac OS or files downloaded from the Internet, you'll often find that double-clicking on a file doesn't open the right application for your needs.
