And when you see QuarkXPress 6 taking full advantage of Mac OS X, when you begin to explore its many new features, when you experience firsthand the application's power, intelligence, and flexibility, you'll know that QuarkXPress 6 has been worth the wait.
Among the many new features you'll immediately enjoy and benefit from, QuarkXPress 6 lets you preview images at their full resolution; create two-position rollovers easily; share content, style sheets, color specs, hyphenation settings and other attributes using "layout spaces"; specify font families for cascading style sheets; synchronize text among project documents; preview web pages from within your documents; output PDF files directly.
Can't wait to get your copy? Quark expects shipments to begin by the end of the month. And you can reserve your copy of QuarkXPress 6 today by pre-ordering the newest version of the world's most popular design and layout software from the Apple Store.
Video editors working in film, HD, SD, and DV have all marked theirs.

3. Presenting Keynote 1.1
With its razor-sharp text, pro-quality graphics, elegant themes, and dazzling transitions, Keynote has persuaded many educators, creative professionals, and business users that there's a better--and more affordable--way to create truly stunning presentations.
So how could we make Keynote an even more compelling solution?
With Keynote 1.1, we've raised the bar on QuickTime performance, improving the quality of imported QuickTime video and optimizing the playback of Keynote presentations exported as QuickTime movies. Keynote 1.1 also offers:
* Enhanced PowerPoint import and export compatibility * Improved interaction and feedback while working with slides in the Navigator * Smaller file sizes when exporting presentations as PDF files * The ability to jump to specific slides during a slideshow and to show series labels on vertical bar charts
