I put in new RAM into my iMac 24" 2.8 core duo 2, and have sitting in front of me the original RAM- actually, maybe not, as this is an Apple refurb, but the new RAM says "For Notebooks" but is happily powering me along.
So I have as of yesterday two tested 1 Gig 'notebook' sized PC2-5300 stick of RAM. If interested, my e-mail will work with the right subject line, "[Mac Help]", without the quotes.
