The best is you use the soft named "Apple Printer Utility" (about 1Mo) and wich is in the folder "ComplŽments CD" of the CD install mac OS 8.6. I give parts of the file "read me" wich is in the same folder, the last line is for you.

Apple Printer Utility Version 2.2
The Apple Printer Utility is a program that allows the configuration and administration of PostScript printers.
Printer Support
The Apple Printer Utility 2.2 program works with all Apple PostScript Level 1, PostScript Level 2, and PostScript 3 printers. If this software is used with a non-Apple printer, a set of generic features will be available. The generic feature set consists of options that are common to most PostScript printers. The use of this utility with these printers is not supported by Apple Computer, Inc. Questions regarding non-Apple printers should be directed to manufacturer of the printer.
System Requirements
The Apple Printer Utility 2.2 program requires System 7.1.1 or later of the Mac OS.
Features
The Apple Printer Utility allows the user to configure and administer their PostScript Printer. It allows the ability to: - Manage a Printer's network capabilities Set the AppleTalk name. Set the EtherTalk zone. Set the printer's IP address. View the Ethernet address. Configure the communication settings. - Manage a Printer's fonts Print a sample of the fonts stored within a printer.
