I don't use MS Internet Explorer. MSIE is still slower at loading web pages on my computer. The cache scheme for IE is better than Netscape, but I'd rather have the page download faster than load faster from disk.

I don't know about MSIE loading pages any slower (seems about the same to me), but I did get sick of the interface. Typical Microsoft hackery. Also, any MS product which even ASKS to install something into my extensions folder gets booted (which is why I don't run ANY MS software). Everything they put out wants to put in OLE, Active X or something similar, all of which seem to increase the number of crashes I have. I am now to the point that my actual SYSTEM hasn't crashed in over 2 months. I still get occasional Netscape crashes, but that seems pretty ubiquitous regardless of the system or OS. I've found MacOS 7.6.1 (plus WDef Leopard) to be extremely stable - it's the most stable OS I've used, including 7.1 on my 680x0 machines.
