I remember using Mosaic back in the early days, you could count on it crashing. There's no point to switch over to another browser now with Netscape 3.0b6. The other browsers don't seem to have some of the basic features Netscape has, like animated GIFs and progressive JPEGs.

Netscape seems to be much better now that version 3.06b came out. Netscape 3.0b6 is suppose to have better memory management and increased stability. From what I've see, it's a vast improvement. Netscape hasn't crashed at all since I've upgraded to the new beta version. I think that version 3.0b6 may even be more stable than 2.0.
