Turning "Chat with Sysop" Off

"Chat with Sysop" is an optional feature of your BBS. If you are not available to chat with BBS users, you should turn chat off .

• Select the "Chat Answerback" command from TeleFinder's BBS menu. TeleFinder Server opens the "Answerback" dialog.

• Turn the "Send messages when user's chat" check box on to disable the "Chat with Sysop" feature.

• Enter up to 127 characters in the dialog's text box. TeleFinder Server uses this text to alert users that the "Chat with Sysop" feature is not available.
