Apply prior to or during periods of active
growth. Early Spring to Early Summer.
Rainfall carries the chemical down into the root
zone where it is absorbed by the plant's root system.
Results will appear 3-6 weeks after 1/4" to 1/2" of
rain.
Do not mow or cut treated plants until they have
completely defoliated at least once, or in the case of
cedar, have turned completely brown.
When treating regrowth from cut off plants, the
regrowth must be at least one year old and the rate of
application based on the original plant size.
On soils high in clay and/organic matter, use the
higher rates.
Red Cedar
Trees- apply 1 to 2
pellets for every inch of stem (trunk) diameter.
Distribute the pellets uniformly around the trunk,
approximately half way between the trunk and the
canopy edge.
Redberry & Blueberry
Cedar- multi-stemmed
cedar plants, apply 1 to 2 pellets for every 3 feet of
plant height or every 3 feet of canopy diameter,
whichever is greater. If plant size requires more than
one pellet, space uniformly around the plant
approximately half way between the plant's stems and
the canopy edge.
Mesquite and
Huisache-
multi-stemmed plants, 2' to 4' tall, use 1 to 2
pellets. For 4' to 6' tall plants, use 2 to 4 pellets.
Apply the pellets by hand to the ground at the base of
the plant.
Mesquite
Trees- apply 2
pellets for every inch of stem (trunk) diameter.
Distribute the pellets uniformly around the trunk,
approximately half way between the plant's stem and
the canopy edge.
Yucca-
apply 1 to 2 pellets directly into the center of the
plant or on the ground near the stem. On large plants,
apply 2 pellets.
