How To Use

Apply prior to or during periods of active growth. Early spring to early Summer.

Rainfall carries the chemical down into the root zone where it is absorbed by the plant's root system. Results will appear 3-6 weeks after 1/4" to 1/2" of rain.

Do not mow or cut treated plants until they have completely defoliated at least once, or in the case of cedar, have turned completely brown.

When treating regrowth from cut off plants, the regrowth must be at least one year old and the rate of application based on the original plant size.

On soils high in clay and/or organic matter, use the higher rates.

Plants With a Single Stem or Trunk - For plants with a single trunk, such as Oaks, Elm and Eastern Red Cedar, apply 1 to 2 pellets for every inch of stem (trunk) diameter. Distribute the pellets uniformly around the trunk, approximately half way between the trunk and the canopy edge.

Plants With Multi-Stems - For brushy, multi-stemmed plants, such as Multiflora Rose, apply 2 pellets on plants 2' to 4' tall and 4 pellets on plants 4' to 6' tall. Distribute the pellets uniformly by hand to the ground around the base of the plant.

Trees With Multi-Trunks - For multi-trunked trees, such as Tallow, add together the diameter of each trunk and apply 1 to 2 pellets for the total number of trunk diameter inches.

EXAMPLE: 1 trunk @ 2", 1 trunk @ 3" and 3 trunks @ 1" equals a total of 8", thus apply 8-16 Power Pellets. Distribute the pellets uniformly around the trunk, approximately half way between the trunk and the canopy edge.
