5.0b8 is very, very out of date. The 5.0 release version was shipped in January. The current release version is 5.1.1 and is available from this BBS.
You should get the current release version and begin using it asap. The 'b' 5.0b8 indicates that it is a "beta" version, with both known and unknown bugs.
